Up With Women is a growing registered charity dedicated to helping recently homeless and at-risk women to build sustainable, prosperous careers and businesses with the aim of permanently exiting poverty. They serve eight regions in three provinces (GTA, Ottawa, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton, Guelph, Montréal and Vancouver).
Volunteer ICF certified coaches are an important part of the UWW program. The coaches serve the women in the program to provide career and life coaching. Loretta volunteers her time with this wonderful organization to assist in coaching women to strengthen their confidence and build sustainable careers. Parkinson Canada SuperWalk takes place each September. Since 1990 walkers have raised more than $38 Million to support a better life today for Canadians living with Parkinson's, a world without Parkinson's tomorrow. Your efforts fuel nationwide and local support, advocacy and the Parkinson Canada Research Program.
Loretta participates in this walk every year with her family. Her mother was diagnosed with the condition several years ago, so she has a personal reason to walk as well. |
