In 2017, I assisted in Essential Impact's corporate coach training for their client MLSE who won an international ICF PRISM award! This is a pretty big deal in the coaching world, I'm happy to have been a part of it.

I am passionate about healing, living in alignment with my soul and following its calls. I'm so excited that I get to share this amazing work with so many wonderful clients!
As a coach, I bring my whole self to my work, including my personal core values which are: Authenticity/being Real, Groundedness, Optimism/Fun, Independence, Creativity and Service. I love exploring and assisting my clients to align with what matters most to them. I rely heavily on my own intuition when coaching my clients and helping them to hear their own inner voice. I believe in taking a holistic approach which balances personal needs, values, dreams and overall wellness for a full rich life. Professionally, I hold many certificates as my passion for the healing space keeps expanding. Maybe you can relate. haha. My professional qualifications:
My Previous Work/Life Experience: Before doing what I do today, I was involved in several ventures including: being a co-founder at Engaging Teams; a company that focused on holistic team building retreats and leadership workshops. I discovered firsthand what a true collaborative partnership is and we continue to be close friends today. Before getting into the coaching field, I worked as a dental hygienist for 14 years, owned and operated a small business, developed and taught professional development courses at the RDHU inc and several professional dental societies and provided tobacco cessation training as a Certified Tobacco Educator. I have facilitated workshop presentations to groups ranging in size from 15-200 people, including my course Energy Management for Work & Life at the Canadian Network for Respiratory Care Conference which was held in Calgary, AB November 2017. Like most people, I followed the traditional trail of going to college, working in a decent paying profession, buying a house, getting married, and having two kids. According to societal norms, I had everything that ‘should’ make me happy and complete. Although, I was grateful for all I had, something was seriously missing. I felt disconnected from myself; stressed out, burnt out from juggling all the demands of life, including the ones I put on myself. I often suffered from stress-related illnesses, chronic pain, accidents, and I thought “I need a change, but I’m not sure what.” I felt so stuck; afraid to change and I constantly wondered if there was more to life than this. It was my grandmother’s death that finally opened my eyes fully to the reality that life is precious and I couldn’t waste anymore time. The steps I had taken to move forward in life such as going back to school to obtain a university degree while still working were good, but they weren’t enough. I finally found the courage to take a leap of faith and left my unfulfilling job. After this, my journey of self-discovery really started to unfold. For me (like many people) it took some major life changing events, chronic pain and the death of a love one to finally start ‘waking up’ to who I really am and how I wanted to live the rest of my life. I now look back on all the suffering and the courage it took to change my life with great gratitude. My journey expanded greatly from there and I have learned to tap more deeply into my intuition and follow my own path with a greater sense of awareness and trust. My deep personal experience has created a passion in me for helping others live and create working conditions that are aligned with their personal path and life purpose. I have learned the importance of being in alignment with our inner wisdom and sees life’s challenges and illnesses as a tool for self-awareness. I understand that often our purpose is directly tied into our work in the world. It is for this reason, I empower my clients to tune into their intuition, passion, and activated calmness to better their lives and work. I have found that her endless journey of personal and professional growth has been a rewarding one indeed! |
